Brrr... chuckles

Ok, another off-the-topic little story that just made me howl with laughter. This would be the same couple I got that other little story from, the one with the teenie ice cream spoon.

This is how this new conversation went:

Him: "I'm soo cold...!!"
Her: "Really?"
Him: "Yes... I'm SOOO COLD!"
Her: "Maybe you're coming down with a cold or something."
Him: "Maybe I just ate twelve popcicles."

Honest to God. I can't make this stuff up!

**************************************************

You know someone. You know someone who’s experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty.

You know someone. I guarantee it.

I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography – $2000's worth, to be exact; this gift would include a session with me, a custom album and a selection of prints.

The rules:

* You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services. (Being unable to make mortgage payments on a two-million-dollar-home does not qualify as sincere financial need.)

* The nominee must reside in Toronto.

What to do:

* Tell me who you know, what they’re experiencing, and why they deserve my artwork. Please include a way to contact both your nominee and yourself as well. E-mail me the full story at: josee@joseecaza.com and make the subject line in your e-mail: "A Hero I Know"

The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve… get nominating! If you don't know anyone, pass along this e-mail to everyone you know so that we can find that special family together.

Open your heart to someone this holiday season – and thanks for giving me the opportunity to open mine.

Coming up for air...

For just a quick note!

If there are still folks out there who haven't come in for portraits yet and are thinking about it, there are still a few available days to book before the studio shuts down for the holidays. 2009 Pricing will come into effect on January 1st, so if you can sneak in before then, give me a call and take advantage of the last two weeks of the 2008 pricing schedule.

And for my loyal blog subscribers.. don't give up on me yet, I still have a lot of pretty portraits and lovely things to share about the clients I've seen in the past couple of whirlwind weeks! Stay tuned... I'm hoping to start yak-yak-yaking away on here very shortly! :)
